Crux WineryProducing small lot Rhone varietals from grapes sustainably grown in the Russian River Valley
Tastings are available by appointment. Led by Steve and Brian, appointments typically last about 1 hour and you will taste 6 to 8 wines, depending on availability. Sampling our wines with the winemakers provides you a unique opportunity to ask a lot of questions to the guys who grew the grapes and made the wine. We break down the differences between varietals, discuss blending strategies, compare vineyard sites and the variations of each vintage. You’ll walk away with an insiders perspective on our wines and a small winery operation.
We have added great outdoor tasting options in these times of Covid. Done at our estate vineyard site, you can relax and taste wines under a 100+ year old cork oak tree, socially distanced, take a vineyard tour, sample goodies fresh from the garden, and in the company of our many winery dogs (or not).
‘House Tastings’ are also a great way to taste and learn about Crux Wines. A House Tasting is when a customer invites 15 – 20 friends over and Steve and/or Brian come to your house with wine and Riedel stems and pours a selection of current release wines for the group.
If there is something special you would like to experience, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 707/837-8061 to schedule a visit or a House Tasting. Tastings for members of our Crux Club are always complimentary.
