It’s hard to imagine two more different vintages than 2011 and 2012 and our Syrah seems to showcase the difference more than any of our other varietals. This is a big, rich wine that brings a warm season into the glass. We used 33% new French oak, more than usual, to balance the big flavors. A little Petite Sirah and Mourvédre add complexity and length. This wine has the structure to last a very long time (7 – 9 years) in the cellar, if you are able to resist.
